Why do you have to download the 600MB update twice? Once for iPad and once for iPhone when it says the update is compatible with both. Aren't they the same file? Is everyone else experiencing this? Oh, and just the clarify the two-finger tip, you have to drag two fingers inside the text box, not just anywhere on the page. In Rene's video, the text box pretty much fills the screen, but some text boxes are ridiculously short and on the iPad you might have a lot of other parts of the page visible. convert wmv to iPad 2 I prefer paid apps without ads, but I can understand why Rovio went with ad based releases for android. Not only is there the issue with not every country getting paid apps, but there is also the problem of getting the app infront of people.I think they would still have millions of sales by this point if they made the app .99, but nowhere near the downloads they have now, and if the reports are to be believed, they're making a ton of money with the ad based model. The lack of an Apple subscription model has nothing to do with it. I am currently moving from dead-tree to digital magazines. Zinio provides a fine subscription model, if the magazines you want are available. Some other magazines provide similarly fair e-subscriptions through in-app purchases in their own apps. Many trade and professional publications distribute PDF files as part of their dead-tree subscriptions. (It would be nice if they offered digital-only; perhaps they will soon.) But some publishers definitely put up roadblocks. The Atlantic, for example, has an ok app, but each issue is a $5 in-app purchase. There's no digital subscription and no way for print subscribers to access the app at no additional charge. Hopefully they'll figure this out soon. dvd to ipod converter mac It's alright. Another thing I noticed was a change to the news feed filter on the top right hand corner. I had an option set so that I could only see status updates from select friends and family. Now it's gone. rip DVD to Hard Drive You miss the point. The point in having a license is to enumerate what can and cannot be done. Developers can choose to grant exemptions or relicense for a specific client or store, as presumably was the case with iD/Wolf3D, otherwise they by default have the follow the license terms. If Apple had sought/was granted such an exemption, there would be no problem. They didn't, so the terms of the GPL should have applied. Apple ignored those terms � that was the problem.

I think one idea behind the 7? is that people will buy that instead of a smartphone and a larger tablet�that it's a compromise. Steve and I think that is a mistake. People are moving to smartphones quickly now and you really do need a 10? screen for effective tablet use. Despite some people's opinion that the iPad is just a larger iPhone/iPod Touch, they are actually closer to a laptop/netbook. Tablets will replace laptops and netbooks, not smartphones. dvd to mp4 software You're fine man. I've been jailbreaking iDevices since the first gen iPod Touch and I've never had any major issues. Stuck on stock 4.2.1 After restoring my iPod Touch. Wondering why I restored? Well, I screwed around with the .string files in the Springboard.app file. Really messed up everything. Lost my 4.1 Jailbreak� so sad. Hopefully this untethered jailbreak will come out soon. mac dvd to mp4 The need for people to come out is pretty simple.  It cannot be compared to saying 'Hi, Im heterosexual' because a.) heterosexual does not define someone the way homosexual does. b.) heterosexuals are not discriminated against solely based on being that. c.) You don't have to live your life in a shadow of being heterosexual so you probably don't care about associating your personal achievements with the term to to try and lift barriers or change someone's thought process.   Coming out and saying 'I am homosexual'  has nothing to do with the sexual connotations associated with being homosexual. The importance of coming out is to associate real faces, lives and values with 'being homosexual' to fight the prejudice of the stigmas currently associated.  If everyone were to come out it would mean that society would not be able to ignore the fact that homosexuals are not just some crazy people that live in a neighborhood in San Francisco, march in ACRONYM title=gay>***/ACRONYM> pride parades or just a few people you see here or there on TV.  They would become sons, daughters, grand-children, neighbors, friends, role models � from the smallest towns to the biggest cities � people that have significant value in other people's lives and probably your own that are currently under the radar and in turn are not contributing to the true faces of homosexuality and how they relate to everyone leaving pre-conceived prejudice in tact.
